Our Story

We are a family run business who provide veterinary services across the UK. We predominantly are a peripatetic surgical service based near Bristol providing surgical expertise for feline and canine patients around the country.

We are able to perform referral soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery from initial consults to final check ups.

We also provide general practice locum services for small animal practices, providing excellent first opinion care and customer services for your practice.

We cover a 70 mile radius providing exceptional service to North Somerset, Bristol, Gloucestershire, Cotswolds, Gwent, Glamorgan and the South West.

Meet the Team

Dr Harry Cobby BVSc GPCertSAS PgC(SAS) MRCVS

Dr Tirion Cobby BSc (Hons) BVSc MSc (Dist.) MRCVS

Tirion graduated from the University of Bristol as a veterinarian and continued her studies to gain a Master's in Global Wildlife Health and Conservation. During this year Tirion found her love for research and continued to work at the University of Bristol as a Research Assistant. Tirion has had papers published in high impact journals and presented at the European Wildlife Disease Association Conference in 2024.

Tirion works behind the scenes ensuring the business runs smoothly! In her spare time Tirion loves walking in the mountains of North Wales and dancing.

Harry graduated from University of Bristol and went into private practice in South Devon. Here he completed his surgical certificate Harry then went on to complete an extended rotating internship at Bristol Vet Specialists before starting Cobby Veterinary Services with his wife. Alongside this he is working towards a Masters in Clinical Veterinary Research looking at BOAS (Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome) surgeries.

In his spare time Harry enjoys being outside in nature, whether on the water sailing or in the mountains walking. Harry is also learning Cymraeg (Welsh) with Dysgu Cymraeg and welcomes any chance to practice it.
